As of v2.8, specters are now able to be pulled byskills when not Enraged, meaning it is much easier to group them

Rage

Specters have a Fury Gauge which builds up when hit by attacks that take a large portion of the Specter's HP.

When enraged, they will change their attack patterns, deal more damage, and explode in a larger AoE when killed.

Abilities

Bullet

Fires a flaming bullet towards the player

Blinking Blaze

Teleports behind the player and lets out a burst of fire

Flaming Turret (Enraged)

Follows the player, shooting out 6 bursts of fire

Detonate

Explodes in a small AoE once killed

If enraged, it will leave behind a bomb that causes a secondary explosion in an AoE.
