Tips and Mechanics

Weak Point - Head

Bathysmal Vishaps appear with different elements, but all of them are functionally the same. They receive a boost to their RES in that element, and some abilities deal damage of that type.

Their RES is as high or higher than their elemental RES, so it is recommended to use any elemental DMG over physical.

Abilities

Slash Combo

Two swipes, followed by a slam

This attack deals DMG for all varieties.

Tail Swipe

Sweeping attack with the tail, dealing elemental DMG

Tail Shot

Shoots projectiles from its tail, dealing elemental DMG

This attack varies based on the element

Drain

Shoots a orb, deals elemental DMG and drains Energy

If the player does not have enough energy, they will instead take DMG. This damage goes through shields.

Hatchlings drain 10 energy, while adult Vishaps will drain 20 energy.

Torrent (Adult Only)

Continually causes elemental eruptions in an AoE around the Vishap
