General Tips

The combination of the recent Elemental Mastery scaling buff for Swirl and the divergence makes **Swirl **damage incredibly good for this floor. It is possible to completely rely on Swirl damage alone for damage.

Swirl damage scales with character level and Elemental Mastery. 4pc Viridescent Venerer also provides bonus Swirl damage.

It is recommended you run at least one on each side. If you only have Anemo Traveler, put them on Side 2.

Target the mobs in this order:

  • Wooden Shield Hilichurls

  • Both **Hilichurl Archers **(spawns another pair)

  • Hilichurl Archer right next to you

  • **Hilichurl Beserkers. **This will trigger the next wave of melee mobs to spawn

  • Hilichurl Berserkers

  • Remaining Hilichurl Archer (spawns another pair)

  • Both Hilichurl Archers

  • Wooden Shield Hilichurls

  • Blazing Axe Mitachurl

  • Wooden Shield Mitachurl

Side 2

Target the mobs in this order:

  • Cryo Hilichurl Bomber

  • Pyro Hilichurl Bombers

  • **Rock Shield Hilichurls. **This will spawn the next wave of monsters

Avoid standing close to the monolith. The Hilichurl Bomber attacks have a wide AoE and can cause damage to the monolith. This is why it is best to clear them out first before dealing with the shield hilichurls.

3★ Tips

If you can kill the Ruin Hunter quickly, you should not need to bring a bow character to stun it.

Stand in the middle when the chamber starts and let the two enemies start to walk to you. The hunter will fly a bit faster so you can walk toward the guard after the hunter starts moving.

The second side is much harder, so try to aim for a clear under 1 minute to leave more time on the other side.

Focus the Abyss Lector first. The **Abyss Herald **will come to you and cause them to naturally group.

Use shields to protect yourself from the energy drain and cooldown increase abilities of both enemies.

3★ Tips

Here are some suggestions for quick shield breaking setups

Using you can clear the mobs very quickly and can often ignore the kill order completely.

Engulfing Storm ()

Using Swirl does a lot of damage, and can often group and kill the Fatui before they get a chance to shield. If you can do this, you can ignore the shieldbreaking requirements for this chamber entirely.

Slowing Waters ()

Using Swirl does a lot of damage, and can often group and kill the Fatui before they get a chance to shield. If you can do this, you can ignore the shieldbreaking requirements for this chamber entirely.

If possible, bring as it is effective against both shields.
