Tips and Mechanics

Weak Point - Face

is the most effective against the shield, but other reactions work as well (See Shields).

The shield naturally decays over time, lasting 90 seconds if you don't damage it at all.

There is also a 90 second cooldown on reshielding. This means the quicker you get the shield down, the longer it stays not shielded. If you are struggling with the Lawachurl, bring multiple chars to bring down the shield faster.

The Lawachurl's attacks have large AoE and are fast. Bring a character with shields if you cannot bring down it's shield quickly enough to block it's attacks.

Some attacks will also spawn Electro Crystallize Shards. You can pick these up to gain a small shield.

Many attacks will spawn Electro Crystals that explode after some time. While they can be destroyed, it's usually not worth it to target them. It's better to try and stay away from them.

Abilities (Shielded)

Slime Toss

Throws a slime at the player, which splits into 3 smaller explosions

Double Slam

Slams the ground twice.

Each slam spawns 1 Electro Crystal that will explode after some time.

Charge

Charges at the player

Jump + Dive

Leaps into the air, then dives at the player

The slam spawns 3 Electro Crystals that will explode after some time.

Punch

Single sweeping punch

Punch and Slam

Sweeping punch followed by a slam

Shield

After it reshields, the Lawachurl will follow up with a **Jump +Dive **attack.
