## Tips and Mechanics

**Weak Point** - Face

The shield naturally decays over time, lasting **90 seconds** if you don't damage it at all.

There is also a **90 second** cooldown on reshielding. This means the **quicker you get the shield down**, the **longer it stays not shielded**. If you are struggling with the **Lawachurl**, bring multiple ![](https://526410171-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F-MVAGyyACcSzyzfmgy7f%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-e0472b52c548a7162a648c191cad9b7bbdf4498b%2Fcryo_small.png?alt=media\&token=73273f11-7ba2-491c-aa57-02230989b809)chars to bring down the shield faster.

The **Lawachurl's** attacks have large AoE and are fast. Bring a character with shields if you cannot bring down it's shield quickly enough to block it's attacks.

Some attacks will also spawn **Electro Crystallize Shards**. You can pick these up to gain a small shield.

Many attacks will spawn **Electro Crystals** that explode after some time. While they can be destroyed, it's usually not worth it to target them. It's better to try and stay away from them.

### Slime Toss
